The hotel was a unique base for enjoying a very pleasant area, next to nicer bars, the shopping hub and castle and Cherry Grove. Really accommodating employees helped us a lot. Its location not too far from Vue Cinema was great.

The location of this place within a 10-15 minute walk from Brunton Park was fantastic, and the staff was friendly and accommodating as anticipated.

Easy to find friendly people lovley breakfast. Overall avery enjoyable weekend. Thank you.

Nothing not to enjoy

There were fantastic, comfortable rooms with TV and a very comfortable bed plus an en suite bathroom. The breakfast was exceptional and included. The service was all in all excellent!

This place is wonderfully situated close to the football ground, and I often visit Happy Garden nearby for a meal.

I recently stayed at a charming guest house in Carlisle and had a fantastic experience. The warm welcome and helpfulness of the staff made me feel right at home. The rooms were impeccably clean and had thoughtful little extras like cotton wool pads in the ensuite. The powerful shower had no water pressure issues, which was a pleasant surprise. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options, including gluten-free bread. If my daughter decides to attend university in Carlisle, I would happily stay at this guest house again for future visits.

We stayed at this facility only as a stopover for other destinations. It was easy to find. The proprietor was very friendly and welcoming and willing to help in any way she could. It was clean.

Our room was very small and cramped. It had a worn look to it. A definite feel of oldness. Beds were hard and uncomfortable. Located on a noisy street.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful 4-star hotel in Cumbria, and I must say, the experience was truly luxurious. They were incredibly helpful, providing me with valuable information about the best restaurants and bars in the area, as well as recommending places to visit during the day.

Free parking available. Great breakfast, especially the excellent fruit salad. - Marvelous and perfect location, just a short stroll from Bomb Shelter. - Convenient distance to the airport, only 15 km away.

It was a good staging post on a journey to Scotland. We slept well and the breakfast very good.

The room was very small and up a very narrow staircase at the top of the house. It is on a busy road into the centre.
